
About Ian Lutta
Ian Lutta is a sports lawyer with a strong focus on anti-doping, human rights law, sports governance, and alternative dispute resolution. He holds a Master’s degree in International Sports Law from the Real Madrid Graduate School in Madrid, Spain, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Nairobi, and is a Certified Sports Mediator.

Ian has served in various sporting organisations both locally and internationally. He began his career at the International Triathlon Union in Madrid, Spain. He later worked at the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya and at the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports, where he served in the Cabinet Secretary’s Office and the Legal Department.

Ian is passionate about the commercialisation of sports in Kenya and across the African region. He believes in building and elevating the sports industry in Kenya to meet international standards for the benefit of sportsmen and sportswomen. His passion for sports law is driven by his desire to see the sports industry thrive through the development of strong governance structures that foster growth in Kenya.

From negotiating and reviewing contracts to safeguarding intellectual property rights, he works to secure the best possible terms for our athletes and partners. He handles dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and endorsement agreement structuring, giving athletes and their families the confidence that their interests are always protected, both on and off the field.
